Dr. Emmanuelle Maguin (INRA) is also heading a research team in the GM unit, has a long-standing track record in the lactococci and lactobacilli gene regulation and physiology and is coordinating an EU-funded training project.
Chaysavanh Manichanh, PhD (HUVH), has been working in the metagenomic of human gut microbiota since 2002, as engineer of research at INRA, and currently as senior scientist at the HUVH. She develops metagenomic projects combining experimental molecular biology and bioinformatics.
Dr. Raquel Melo Minardi is a Post-Doc at CEA/Genoscope. She holds a PhD in Bioinformatics (2008) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and BS. in Computer Science (2004). Her PhD studies were developed in the Laboratory of Physico-Chemistry of Proteins and Enzymology in colaboration with laboratories of Chemistry and Computer Science Departments from the Minas Gerais University and the Structural Computational Biology group at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation at the National Agricultural Information Technology Research Center, Campinas, Brazil. She works on protein structural classification, protein homology modelling and simulations of molecular dynamics.
